GETTING TO TOWN

• Hanoi is about a 45-minute ride from the airport. Vietnam Airlines' Airport Taxi charges US$15 between Noi Bai and Hanoi. The airport minibus costs VND25,000 per person in either direction and drops passengers downtown on Quang Trung Street. An air-conditioned city bus leaves from outside the Noi Bai terminal every 20 minutes and cost just VND 2,500. In Ho Chi Minh City, a metered cab should get you downtown for under US$5.
