Day 1:        Bangkok - Poipet – Battambang (D)

11.00 Pick-up at Poipet Cambodia's border (Client will cross border and arrange visa formalities by his own) our guide will wait for them at Thai Border and will assist them for Cambodia immigration procedure

Note: All clients can get a visa at border, the visa fees is THB: 1000 (available only Thai Bath). And two ID-sized photos are needed. Drive to Sisophon (1hr). Lunch at own account

In the afternoon, continue to Battambong Province (around 2 hours), Check in at hotel. Start visit of Battambang if time permitted. Dinner at own account and Accommodation at hotel in Battambang

 

Day 2:        Battambang (B/L)

07.00 Breakfast at hotel and drive to the Phnom Bannon Hill (1 hr drive). Climb the 337 steps (80 m high) to reach the temple (10-min. walk). Visit the Prasat Bannon temple (XII c.) and enjoy the outstanding view over the surrounding plains. Return to Battambang for lunch. In the afternoon, drive to Wat Ek Phnom then proceed to visit the Wat Ek Phnom, a nice 11th century temple which offers a very peaceful atmosphere in the countryside, surrounded by trees and lily ponds. Strolling around the quiet temple can be a very relaxing and spiritual experience. Next to the temple you can see the Wat Ek Phnom Pagoda which has one of the most complete collections of Buddhist wall and ceiling paintings in all Cambodia. Return to Battambang and visit of the museum that hosts some interesting pieces such as some carved lintels originating from the surrounding temples, and some stone or wooden Buddha statues. 18.30 Dinner at your own account. Day 3:        Battambang- Siem Reap by boat (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. 08.00 Departure by private speedboat from Battambang View the wonderful landscape and the daily life along the river during the 6-7 hours trip. Cross the Tonle Sap Lake. Picnic Lunch on the boat

p.m. Arrive in Siem Reap pier and transfer to hotel, Check in at hotel

 

Note: during the dry season from March to July due to the low level of the water and the bad smell surrounding the area we do not recommend the trip by boat to clients and we will replace this tour by road and visit Silk Farm instead. (Please find below a detail itinerary for dry season)

 

Battambang- Siem Reap by road

Breakfast at hotel. 08.00 Drive from Battambong and direct transfer to Sisophorn, Lunch at local restaurant in Sisophorn

p.m. Continue to Siem Reap and stop to visit Silk farm of Pouk on the way or visit floating village depending on level of water. Arrive in Siem Reap and check in at hotel
Dinner at own account and Accommodation at hotel in Siem Reap

 

Day 4:        Siem Reap (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel. 08.00 Visit of Angkor the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baksei Chamkrong, Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch at your own account.

p.m. Visit Angkor Wat until sunset. Dinner at your own account. Accommodation at hotel in Siem Reap

 

Day 5:        Siem Reap (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel. a.m. Visit Banteay Srey and Banteay Samre temples. Lunch at your own account. In the afternoon visit of Ta Prohm, Neak Pean and Preah Khan temple, Dinner at your own account. Accommodation at hotel in Siem reap.

 

Day 6:        Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel. a.m. visit "Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor" which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Stroll around the local market. Lunch at local restaurant. Transfer to the airport for flight to Phnom Penh by flight p.m. Arrive Phnom Penh and transfer to hotel for check in, free leisure and diner at your own account. Overnight at Phnom Penh Hotel

Day 7:        Phnom Penh – Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel. a.m. Phnom Penh City tour: visit National Museum, Silver pagoda, Royal Palace, Wat Phnom, central market. Transfer to the airport for departure flight to another destination
