Enjoy a comfortable hotel pickup as your guide takes you on a scenic drive from bustling Ho Chi Minh City to the peaceful Cu Chi District. Along the way, marvel at the lush rice paddies, charming roadside stalls, and the authentic rural landscape of Vietnam.

Arriving at the site, begin your adventure with a guided tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels – a vast underground maze of hidden pathways, camouflaged trapdoors, meeting rooms, sleeping quarters, field hospitals, and the famous Hoang Cam smokeless kitchen. Feel the intensity of history beneath your feet as you learn how a mere 3–4 meters of soil could withstand the weight of 55-ton tanks and protect against heavy bombing.

This is a fantastically ran, well preserved area which is an absolute must. Seeing the size of the tunnels in real life was stunning, they are so small. The Booby Trap demonstration was quite moving, given the viciousness of the traps, but was very interesting to see. The gun range was good fun as well. I had read and seen the ken burns documentary on Vietnam War but nothing prepared me to the actual visit to the tunnels.I still cannot fathom the life in these tunnels for so many years. It just unimaginable the spirit of the Vietnamese people and the quest for independence.This was a highlight of our trip to south Vietnam and a must see for anyone visiting south Vietnam.You can volunteer to go ..More

Interesting trip - we went there by speed boat. Much nicer than in a bus and you get there before the crowd (if you pick the morning trip). The video at the beginning is VERY propaganda and actually quite boring - interesting from a communist historic point of view but that's it.

It’s a routine to go here and well worth it to see the resilience and ingenuity of the Vietnamese but might prove confronting. It certainly demonstrates what a nightmare serving in Vietnam must have been with the tunnels and booby traps.

I was sceptical on this Attraction. However it is an amazing experience. Very well organised visit and perspective on a very unique aspect of history. Quite extraordinary history. One tip - travel there and back via speedboat. Quicker and more interesting form of transport from HCMC.
